Our Opportunity: Forest Health/Integrated Vegetation Management Operations Supervisor

Spectrum is currently seeking one (1) Forest Health/Integrated Vegetation Management Operations Supervisor for Central and Northern BC. The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for safely delivering various operational programs.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A safety-first approach to all tasks,
  • A proven ability to lead and direct personnel in a fast-paced work environment,
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of perfectionism in data collection and entry, and,
  • Strong organizational skills.

Location: Preference is Prince George based. Operational locations throughout BC (primarily central and northern BC).

Anticipated Start Date & Position Term: Immediate, full time.


  • $250.00 to $300.00 per day (rate is based on experience and relevant qualifications),
  • Company vehicle,

  • Out of town per diem.


  • Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record,
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test,
  • Experience in forestry, silviculture, integrated vegetation management or related industries,
  • Experience in a supervisory role,
  • Physically fit to work in various weather conditions, environments and terrain types.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Natural Resources, Forestry or Environmental Science would be considered a strong asset,
  • Experience operating ATV’s, or other offroad vehicles.
