Insurance Sales Associate

Our client is a multi-faceted insurance company that provides insurance solutions to individuals, businesses and groups. They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Insurance Sales Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is highly motivated, has exceptional client service skills and can easily develop business through their ability to forge strong relationships.

Location: Vancouver, BC


  • Grow insurance business through active sales and client servicing
  • Work with clients to identify needs and advise products and policies accordingly
  • Engage in business development and sales efforts through regular prospecting and follow-up with clients
  • Ensure risk assessment and underwriting requirements are met
  • Maintain and develop excellent relationships with clients
  • Communicate with clients to answer any insurance-related inquiries and work through issues that come up
  • Provide ad hoc support to team, as required


  • Minimum 1-year experience working in a similar sales and client service focused environment in financial services or insurance
  • Obtained or willing to obtain Insurance License, and can meet requirements to maintain license
  • Background in personal lines insurance is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work and maintain relationships with clients
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines well
