Robertson Plastics is a plastics distribution company supplying sheet plastics, composite materials, specialty coatings, and container packaging. Along with product distribution, we provide value added services and custom fabrication. We are dedicated to providing project solutions utilizing plastic products to both individuals and to businesses serving commercial, sign, merchandising, marine, aerospace, and resource industries. We are located on the Surrey/Langley border near 192 St and Hwy 10.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person for Inside Sales to focus on new customer growth and retain current existing customer through  excellent customer service.  A courteous, professional manner with a positive attitude along with creative mind for providing both project solutions and company-minded contributions is best suited for this position. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical sales and/or in an industry-related field.

Store hours are Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 5:00PM, until 5:30PM on Thursdays. Closed weekends and holidays. Employees may be required to work overtime or a Saturday on rare occasions.

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Service both commercial and retail customers
  • Prepare quotations and make follow-up calls
  • Initiate daily B2B sales calls
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings
  • Participate in monthly action plans
  • Provide technical documents as requested
  • Communicate requirements between customer and fabrication as needed
  • Inventory management
  • Enter and monitor purchase orders
  • Act consistent with company standards, culture & best business practices


  • Have a strong aptitude for sales
  • Maintain professional manner and appearance
  • Able to multi-task while paying attention to details
  • Technical and/or industry related experience an asset
  • Product training provided
  • WHMIS and Dangerous Goods training provided


  • 18 years of age or older
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle
  • Strong computer skills and math aptitude
  • Ability to read and draw simple line drawings to develop ideas
  • Ability to frequently lift, slide, and lower packages that typically weigh 25-50lbs and may weigh up to 80lbs
  • Ability to speak, read and write in fluent English
  • Completed High School Diploma
