A busy, dynamic law firm in Vancouver BC is currently seeking a professional, Hybrid Paralegal/LAA to join their personal injury team to support an Associate’s practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who continues to seek personal and professional development. The successful candidate should have previous experience working as a Paralegal in a fast-paced work environment. Furthermore, you must have exceptional customer service and administrative skills for this position.

Who you are!

You are an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant or have a law degree with exceptional analytical, communication and customer service skills. You see and understand the big picture. In addition, you are reliable and able to work independently and within a team. Your strong work ethic and initiative will go far in this environment. 


Where is it based?

Vancouver BC



  • Request medical documents, employment documents, and all other supporting documents from stakeholders
  • Interact with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsels, medical practitioners etc.
  • Document management (requesting, reviewing, summarizing and following up)
  • Vetting clinical records
  • Conducting legal research
  • Schedule client meetings
  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Organize and manage personal injury files
  • Perform other duties as required by Associate


Must haves:

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a busy law practice, experience in personal injury would prove to be a major asset
  • Successful completion of an LAA or Paralegal certificate or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution is an asset
  • Highly organized and strong administrative background
  • Proven ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
