Position Information
Location New Westminster/Coquitlam Campus Salary Range
Band 5 (Minimum- $61,316 , Control Point- $81,755, Maximum- $85,843).
Placement within a salary band is typically up to Control Point based on skills, experience and internal equity. May place over Control Point in limited circumstances.
The Opportunity
You are an expert in providing timely and accurate information and proficient in administrative support for employee relations, labour relations, group benefits, and pension administration. You maintain strong relationships with client groups and the College's benefits and pension providers to ensure all questions, concerns, and issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Your administrative talents, customer service skills, and knowledge of benefit and pension enrolment and change processes are your biggest strengths in providing support to all employee groups.

WHAT IT TAKES
• Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a directly related program (such as: Human Resources Management) with a minimum of two years of benefits related experience in a unionized Human Resources environment including experience working with collective agreements and confidential issues. A CEBS designation is an asset.
• Demonstrated knowledge of statutory and insured benefit plans, as well as provincial pension plans.
• Good understanding of BC Employment Standards, Human Rights, and Privacy legislation, and ability to handle highly confidential information with tact and discretion.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Banner HRIS (or other complex, integrated Human Resources Information System including spreadsheets and databases).

This temporary full-time position is available starting immediately, and ending August 31, 2026. Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
