Aligned with Northern Health's strategic plan, and in accordance with the organizations vision and values, the Human Resources Assistant, Operational Support works collaboratively and proactively with leaders of the assigned portfolio to assist in the completion of human resource and other management functions. The position is responsible to track education requirements for staff and assists leaders to ensure completion in compliance with regulatory, legislative, and organizational requirements. The Assistant monitors, tracks, and reports on human resource metrics, including employee attendance, workforce demographics, overtime, and vacancies; assists in ensuring accuracy of data by maintaining position level detail in collaboration with leaders, Finance and Human Resources. The role assists Regional departments in recognizing opportunities that will ensure consistency, collaboration and increased efficiency in the delivery of services to Northern Health leadership teams. The incumbent contributes to a welcoming, diverse and psychologically safe work environment by establishing respectful relationships, modelling expected behavior, addressing situations where NH values are not demonstrated and assisting others to do the same.
Starting salary will be approximately from $52,156 to $65,195 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions Prince George

•Diploma in Human Resources, Business or a relevant discipline;
•Two (2) to three (3) years' experience including human resources experience.
