Excel Personnel has been retained to recruit our clients next Human Resources and Safety Coordinator.

This position will report to the Site Manager and the position assists in the development and maintenance of the site support systems including:

  • Safety,
  • Employee training programs,
  • Recruitment
  • Administrative support to Supervisors & Managers,
  • Assisting in developing safety policies and procedures
  • Experience with WCB Management
  • Working with Contracts in a unionized environment

The successful candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to respond effectively to multiple and changing priorities. 

The candidate will make decisions and recommendations in a timely manner and have the ability to apply policies and procedures with consistency and confidence. 

A Certified Human Resources Professional with previous experience in a unionized environment, particularly in a manufacturing setting, and is familiar with general labour relations matters will be considered an asset.
