Human Resources Advisor / Senior Human Resources Advisor

Your new company
My client, a highly established and global organization in the mining sector, is seeking a Human Resources Advisor to join their team. This role will be based out of our client's offices based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This permanent role offers a competitive compensation package, including extended benefits, RRSP and a generous bonus.

Your new role
As the successful Human Resources Advisor you will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and be a valued member of the HR team, supporting the company's corporate employees and expatriates. You will perform a wide range of human resources activities and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of policies, programs and processes to ensure continued alignment with business goals and objectives and external market practices. Your duties will include full-cycle recruitment and global mobility support, also organisational development, continuous improvement and change management. In addition you will support the company's performance management and compensation and benefits processes and policies. Alongside your strategic input, you will provide HR Administration assistance.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role will have a minimum of 5-10 years' experience as a Human Resources professional and have worked for a large, ideally global company. Due to the nature of this role, candidates with exposure to global HR will be preferred. Candidates should have proven recruitment and global mobility experience, in addition to being financial aware so as to advise on global compensation and tax, training on this aspect will be provided. In addition, you will be educated to post-secondary level, ideally in the HR field. A CHRP designation would be beneficial, but not required.
