In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, this position is accountable for the administration, supervision, planning and budgeting of the Health Information Management Services (HIMS). Reporting to the NI-HIM MANAGER on administrative matters will advise on budgets, workload, labour relations and personnel. Responsible for interpreting and implementing all institutional regulations, policies and procedures as they apply to HIMS.


Graduation from a recognized program in Health Information Management, plus three years recent related experience including two years in a supervisory capacity and post-basic training in management. Current certification with the Canadian College of Health Information Management at the certificant level and eligible for active membership with the Canadian Health Information Management Association.
