You will be responsible for managing the day to day activities on a construction site, more responsibilities and duties are listed below. We offer excellent wages, benefits, and work hard at making Targa a great place to work.

Job Summary

  • Valid Drivers license.
  • Minimum of 5 years as lead excavator experience.
  • Knowledge of underground utilities
  • Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order
  • Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures
  • Maintain pre-trip inspections/activity logs
  • Maintain and clean machines daily
  • Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
  • Monthly maintenance of machines
  • Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
  • Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out
  • Perform safety checks on every machine
  • Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors
  • Willingness to assist as needed when not operating machinery


Compensation is dependent on civil experience and job fit.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00-$43.00 per hour
