Experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic required for mining operation in Central B.C

The company is focused on developing its extensive land package in the historical Cariboo Mining District and is providing an opportunity to work in a beautiful region of B.C
Your new role
As a Heavy Duty Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair large mobile mining equipment common to a surface hard rock mine. Other duties will include performing Preventative Maintenance inspections and services, servicing and repairing equipment in the field with a service truck, actively participating in safety activities and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
As a qualified candidate, you will have your BC or Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic/Technician certification, experience with mining equipment such as excavators, dozers, surface haul trucks and other mining equipment and be safety driven. 3-5 years' mining experience is preferred - either open-pit or underground. You must also be self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
