Join our Mental Health & Addictions team at Riverstone Home/Mobile Detox/Daytox Program based out of Chilliwack General Hospital, and you will have the opportunity to:
•Monitor clients' physical & psychological status during the stabilization and withdrawal process; •Provide educational & informational sessions for clients and families; and •Utilize your experience in withdrawal management & your Substance Abuse Counselling certification.
This is your opportunity to work directly with clients and families to facilitate the process of withdrawal management. Working in tandem with a nurse in an outreach capacity, you will assist clients who wish to detox, as they reside in their homes or other identified 'safe house' in the community, from problematic substance use. You will be directly involved in client care plans and will have the chance to collaborate with our interdisciplinary team.
As the ideal candidate, you have experience in working with addiction clients
and related issues, providing outreach services in the community, and facilitating educational groups.
