My client, a global organisation is seeking a Global Mobility and Human Resources Assistant to support their HR function. Based in modern offices in Vancouver, this is a permanent role that offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including matching pension plan.
Your new role
As the Global Mobility and Human Resources Assistant you will support the HR function by providing invaluable administration support to the HSE, Global Mobility and Immigration functions. Reporting the Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics for drug and alcohol and medical tests, ensuring country compliance is met. You will assist the team with the global relocation process, advising employees on HR policies as required. In addition you will support the immigration process by collating required immigration and personal documentation, then applying for the relevant visa's; you will also ensure visa applications and expiry dates are tracked and followed up with.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, or as a Human Resources Administrator / Human Resources Coordinator. Although you do not need an in-depth knowledge of global mobility, or immigration processes, you must be willing to learn and have an interest in global mobility. Strong attention to detail and advanced organisation skills are required, as are advanced communication skills. Ideally you will hold a post-secondary HR diploma or degree; intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills are essential.
