Financial Shared Services Specialist (Master Data Management)

Do you possess expertise in master data management, accounts payable, and ERP systems, particularly Oracle? Are you familiar with Coupa and ServiceNow? This is a 5–6-month contract.

Who – The Company: 
Our client, one of Vancouver’s most sought-after companies to work for, with global operations and an impeccable reputation, is seeking a proactive and driven Global Financial Shared Services Specialist.

What- The Role:  
As part of the Global Financial Shared Services (GFSS) team, the GFSS Specialist will set up new global vendors and update existing ones in accordance with local policy, procedures and guidelines to facilitate a more streamlined invoicing process. They will work cross-functionally to refine the current global vendor onboarding process and launch vendor set up in new markets (including ad hoc maintenance of global vendor onboarding forms). Additionally, the GFSS Specialist will prepare Reg 105 (tax withholding slips) and compilation of data to support 1099 and T4 tax filings/returns. Additionally, the GFSS specialist will maintain gift card loads.

• Set up new vendors and update existing ones globally, working cross-functionally to ensure invoices are processed and paid on a timely basis
• Support and work together with third-party off-shore team members
• Provide support for projects aimed at developing and enhancing processes and tools.
• Develop and enhance current vendor onboarding forms and processes globally (including expansion into new markets) 
• Compile vendor payment data to support 1099 and T4 tax filings/returns
• Perform user acceptance testing prior to new entity set-up/new system use 
• Actively enroll and participate in monitoring weekly/monthly metrics on productivity 
• Create dashboards and reports, and run analysis to analyze risks and opportunities
• Monitor the total number of Service Now Tickets processed per month
• Load gift cards

Who- the Candidate: 

• University Degree
• 1-2 years of relevant MDM experience
• 1-2 years of Project management experience
• Experience with Oracle, ServiceNow, and Coupa strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills

How much:
$28/hr + 4% vacation pay

Where:
Vancouver, hybrid working model of 3 days onsite in office, and 2 remote
