We are currently seeking an Engineer in Training, or a Junior Geological Engineer to join our expanding team in Langley, BC.

About the Opportunity: 

You will be involved in projects ranging from small residential applications to large scale developments. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on geotechnical and civil engineering projects, including both field and office work, and work closely with fellow team members, consultants, contractors, and the public. 

Responsibilities of the successful applicant could include: 

  • Drafting
  • Geotechnical designs
  • Project management
  • Site work and inspections
  • Report and proposal writing
  • Mentoring fellow team members 

What You Bring: 

  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to work on multiple projects and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with common geotechnical software, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • A valid driver’s license and possess a vehicle to travel to project sites. 

 

This is a full-time permanent position. 

Salary is open depending on experience, with a competitive wage for qualified individuals.
