Full-Time Dayside Crew Member
Starting Wage: $18.25 per hour
Carpenter Enterprises (B.C.) Inc. is an independently owned and operated franchise of McDonald's Restaurants serving communities across Vancouver Island. We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Crew Members to join our team.

What Dayside Means: Dayside availability means being consistently available to work at least two peak periods throughout the year. Peak periods typically include breakfast (6:00 AM to 9:00 AM), lunch (11:00 AM to 1:00 PM), and dinner (4:00 PM to 7:00 PM).
A Day in the Life
No two shifts are exactly the same. As a Crew Member, you may work in the kitchen, front counter, Drive-Thru, dining room, or beverage station supporting restaurant operations and delivering great guest experiences.
Your day may include:

Preparing food and beverages to McDonald's quality standards
Serving guests at the front counter, Drive-Thru, or dining area
Assembling dine-in, take-out, mobile, and delivery orders
Taking guest orders and processing payments accurately
Cleaning and sanitizing workstations, equipment, dining areas, and washrooms
Stocking supplies and assisting with maintaining restaurant organization
Working together with your team in a fast-paced environment
Following food safety, workplace safety, and company procedures at all times

Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented
Willingness to learn and take initiative
No prior experience required; experience in food service or customer service is an asset

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Flexible daytime schedule: 7 to 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week based on availability
Prolonged standing and walking
Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Exposure to kitchen equipment and cleaning chemicals
Fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment
