Excel Personnel has been retained by our National Client to recruit their next Full Cycle Bookkeeper utilizing SAGE 50  in their relaxed, small office environment.

The ideal candidate will be creating financial transactions and generating reports including posting information to the accounting journal, payroll, creating invoices for customers, cash receipts, and supplier invoices. You will be detail orientated, with strong communication skills, and takes pride in their work.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Process Numerous Accounting Transactions
  • Manage A/P, A/R, and Payroll
  • Prepare GST Returns and Payroll Remittances
  • Bank Reconciliation
  • Online Payments such as EFT etc.
  • Full cycle accounting including production of monthly financial statements
  • Employee onboarding and any Benefits administration
  • Work to constantly improve processes and efficiencies, find areas to automate
  • Provide administrative support services, including filing & cleanup projects
  • Regular communication with management to achieve objectives outlined above and deal proactively with issues as they arise

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Must have 2-3 years of Accounting experience
  • Comfortable using QuickBooks Software
  • A solid understanding of Bookkeeping Principals
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable using payroll software
  • Desire to work as part of a team with a positive attitude

Salary Dependent on experience, and negotiable.
