Our client, a well known and extremely reputable firm located in Vancouver, is currently looking for a  French  speaking  Legal Administrative Assistant for their Real Estate department.


The Legal Services Coordinator provides legal support work of medium to high complexity primarily in drafting, preparing and managing franchise documentation, providing technical advice and guidance on franchising process and requirements, liaising with internal and external parties, and providing legal support to Legal Counsel on various corporate, commercial and risk management issues.  


Conduct overview of franchises, key dates and proposed transactions; and plan, organize, and coordinate legal support work and processes,
Obtain, analyze and manage extensive factual and legal documentation and information; and draft, review, and manage legal agreements, documentation and related correspondence for all franchising and multi-site development transactions including final, amendment, shareholding, and conveyance agreements,
Provide technical advice and guidance on franchising process and requirements,
Conduct basic legal and general research on various issues, analyze and summarize findings, and initiate appropriate follow up action,
Develop, draft and update franchise policies and procedures and co-ordinate input and sign-off,
Maintain effective working relationships consistent with Climate Goals in order to understand, influence and support others to achieve common goals.


Knowledge of basic legal and general research techniques, and experience working in a legal department as a paralegal including drafting and preparing legal agreements, documentation and correspondence.
Completion of a paralegal program or equivalent training and experience is required.
Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks.
Demonstrated accurate spreadsheet, analytical, word processing and problem solving skills are required (MS Word, Excel etc).  
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work on a consistent basis, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team with limited guidance.
Ability to work in French language is required.
