This position serves the five Ministries of the Natural Resource Sector (Agriculture, Food and Fisheries; Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation; Environment and Climate Change Strategy; Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development and Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation) and is responsible for revenue business development and transformation projects in support of the Natural Resource Sector. The position provides business analysis to enhance strategic, financial, and operational decision-making for Revenue and Accounts Receivable management across the NRS, and is responsible for assisting in the development of a standardized revenue model to align with the NRS transformation initiatives supporting integrated decision management.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Accounting designation (CPA).
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. commerce, business) and minimum three years of experience working with multiple complex revenue streams; OR
  • A combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Minimum two years of experience working with clients, project teams, and vendors, process mapping and/or process re-engineering. This includes identifying business requirements, performing functional designs, testing, and/or training end users.
  • Minimum two years of experience implementing new and/or existing system changes, including developing new processes and procedures, and/or communication.
  • Minimum two years of experience implementing change management.
  • Minimum two years of experience working with Revenue and/or Accounts Receivable processes and systems.


Preference may be given to candidates with any of the following:
  • Experience working with multiple complex revenue streams within a Natural Resources Ministry.
  • Minimum two years of experience working with Oracle Accounts Receivable module or NRS POSSE e-Licensing.
