The Financial Services Team Leader (FSTL) is a member of a 22 person Accounting Operations Team, who work together provide services to all 13 SDA's, Contract Management, Other Corporate and Provincial Office Branches. While they have assigned client offices and branches, they work collaboratively to support each other and deal with bottle necks in workload by moving work around the province to other teams using house mail and where possible electronic transfers of documents by email or local area networks.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in business and financial management related areas, or level 2 of Government Financial Management Certificate, or and equivalent level of education, training and experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in office and financial administration in a small or large organization.
• Minimum 2 year experience using computerized systems and software, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases (ie. MS Office), internet-based applications and financial applications (ie. CAS Oracle).
• Recent supervisor experience, preferably in a financial or accounting operations environment.

This is a temporary opportunity until October 31, 2024. This temporary opportunity may become permanent.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement.
