We are looking for an exceptionally bright and motivated Financial Planning Associate on behalf of our client, a leading wealth management group, to join their rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate possesses the experience, professionalism and diligence to provide the highest level of client service. Location: Vancouver, BC

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily correspondence and action requests to and from clients
  • Work closely with Advisors and team members on all related deliverables
  • execute deliverables for all related requests
  • Manage portfolio reviews, schedule and attend client meetings
  • Attend and assist with client meetings on financial planning, wealth management, tax, insurance and investment options
  • Support the team in the preparation all financial planning documentation and reviews
  • Conduct needs analyses and generate required reporting
  • Maintain exceptional communications with all external parties
  • Ensure that all compliance, regulations and policies are being adhered to
  • Additional tasks and projects, as required

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience within financial services and insurance field
  • Completion or in process of completing CFP, CIM, CFA or LLQP is considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Efficient time management abilities and able to manage multiple deadlines with a high level of confidentiality
  • Be analytically minded and resourceful
  • Able to build strong working relationships with internal and external parties
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team setting
  • Exemplary account management abilities to maintain client satisfaction and develop new business
  • Have a keen sense of business acumen and committed to continued learning
