About the Opportunity
Tomahawk Industries Ltd. is currently seeking safety-oriented Field Technicians to join our growing team in British Columbia and Alberta.
Ideally based in Grande Prairie or Prince George, this role is perfectly suited to a hard-working mechanic or technician who is looking for the autonomy and freedom to operate your own fully-equipped service truck. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out skilled work, including:
To qualify, you will ideally be a Journeyman however third and fourth year Apprentices are also encouraged to apply.Successful candidates will also strong working knowledge of air conditioning, fire suppression and automatic greasing systems. Whether you're an Automotive/Heavy Duty mechanic or HVAC Technician, we will provide all relevant training needed to see you succeed in this role - three months on the job training based in Edmonton.
Successful candidates must have excellent mechanical knowledge and the ability to complete all aspects of repair. Initiative and diligence will serve you well in this role, as will great communication and customer service skills. Self motivation and self discipline are both essential due to the autonomous nature of this role. A valid Class 3 Driver's License is also required.
About the Benefits
For your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with an attractive percentage of the hourly truck rate, depending on your experience. OTE is $60-$80K. In addition, you will receive a great range of benefits, including:
