Facilities Coordinator - Temporary - Surrey - Hourly
Your New Role
The Facility Coordinator will assist in daily facilities operations and program launches for a busy financial environment. Ability to provide accurate attention to detail while still providing on-time deliverables in a fast pace work environment is essential. This position will be responsible for the coordination of facilities maintenance such as preventative maintenance, building and equipment an repair. This is a one year contract however there is a strong possibility if this being made permanent after the contract comes to an end.
As the Facilities Coordinator you will report directly into the Premises and Purchasing Manager. In order to perform this role successfully, your duties swill include but are not limited to; scheduling preventative maintenance programs for facilities and building components, conduct site visits as required to evaluate and provide recommendations for identified issues, maintain an efficient file management system along with coordinating maintenance of life safety systems along with assisting in any other adhoc projects as they arise.
What you will need to succeed
This role is best suited to a driven self-starter with a strong technical knowledge of building components along comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office suite. This role will encompass a blend of administrative duties, site visits and work place moves (will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds). Your own car will be required for weekly site visits, you will be reimbursed for your fuel consumption.
