An expanding industrial construction company is seeking an Estimator for their office in Delta BC. With offices across Canada, they service the industrial construction sector focusing on Fuelling Systems, Pipeline Operations, Wastewater Facilities and Manufacturing Facilities. They are a true General Contractor and self-perform all aspects of their projects.
Your new role
As Estimator you are responsible for estimating and coordinating heavy industrial projects. You will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, planning and scheduling of projects and project coordination. Projects include heavy industrial piping along with civil concrete and structural components.
What you'll need to succeed
The job requires you to have 5+ years' experience as an Estimator. You will need specific experience in either mechanical piping or civil structural industrial projects. You will have either an engineering degree or graduated from an engineering tech program. This is a demanding role that requires you to have knowledge of construction, estimation, contracts and management. Advance problem solving, organisational and interpersonal skills a must.
