Headquartered in British Columbia, Canada, the Mustang Survival Waterlife Studio is a stone’s throw from the water’s edge. We are surrounded by fresh water, a big ocean, and all the weather the Pacific Northwest can throw at us. Our HQ houses a lab to test human physiology and material properties, a product creation shop to craft product concepts, a testing pool to evaluate new ideas (not to mention we are right beside the mighty Fraser River and Pacific Ocean for real-world testing), and a full manufacturing center to carefully craft our marine gear. We are a collective group of people so obsessed with every detail that we control every facet of the product experience and challenge the status quo of how marine gear is designed and built. 


As the ERP Training Coordinator, you are responsible for identifying training requirements and developing training plans for new and existing employees. Additionally, you will be familiar with instructional methods, coaching, and skill development. You will use your expertise to support the rest of the team and ensure all employees have the right skills to perform at their highest potential.   The initial focus of this role will be to support several significant digital transformation (software) initiatives and then will expand to support all areas of the business.


  • Develop and lead in-house training and education plans for new ERP software system  
  • Develop, coordinate and oversee the production of instructional materials
  • Support internal subject matter experts with training material creation
  • Work with managers to determine specific training needs
  • Schedule and organize training events
  • Maintain training records
  • Ensure all learning materials are correctly catalogued for future use
  • Provide analytics on learning delivered to a range of stakeholders
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback to managers and IT team.
  • Answer employee questions and concerns related to the new ERP software


  • Three to five years of experience developing and delivering instruction or training programs
  • Experience creating training plans (matrix) based on staff roles
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of training and development processes and adult learning theory
  • Basic project management skills
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills 
  • Excellent presentation skills required
  • Enjoys coaching and mentoring others


  • Working familiarity with Netsuite ERP is preferred
  • Interest or involvement in activities for which we make products
