Reporting to the Team Lead - Environmental Health and in accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the Environmental Health Officer is responsible for carrying out a diverse program of environmental health protection. Using a variety of professional and technical skills, the position reduces the incidence of communicable disease, injury and health hazards; performs technical assessments; provides consultative and education services; ensures that community development does not conflict with a healthy environment; ensures compliance with environment health legislation, policy and standards. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a health-related discipline; must have a Certificate in Public Health Inspection (Canada). Current valid BC Driver's License.Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated ability in the use of e-mail and word processing. Ability to operate other related equipment as required in the specific practice area.
