The mission of the People Security Sub-Department is to take industry leading measures to protect the health and safety of our people, our clients, and our communities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is experiencing exponential growth, and the Occupational Health and Safety Team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to lead the team responsible for the measures necessary to protect the health and safety of our people and clients across all our spaces, including Distribution Centres, Stores, Offices, and more. As the Sr. Director, OH&S, you will play a pivotal role in implementing processes and procedures and leading programs to ensure people are protected from illness and injury. And, with people at the heart of everything you do, you will support your high-potential people to grow rewarding careers at Aritzia-while enjoying one yourself.

THE ROLE

As the Sr. Director, OH&S, you will lead the team to:

• Manage programs and processes to uphold industry-leading best practices to protect the health of people in our spaces
• Influence policies and practices to protect the physical safety of people in our spaces
• Partner with the leaders of various workplaces to ensure the highest degree of people safety and security in their day-to-day operations
• Seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling career development and an incredible employee experience

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Sr. Director, OH&S has:

• Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and/or applicable certifications, including:
  • Comparable experience in a similar OH&S role
• A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles
• The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes
• The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team
