Reporting to the Director, Engineering Program Management, you will be responsible for fostering teamwork within your Scrum teams while overseeing, managing, and curating Agile initiatives. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead the team program planning and execution, including scope management, tracking of dependencies, risk management, issue escalation and resolution
  • Communication of progress, issues, and risks
  • Drive collaboration between Product and External teams
  • Drive understanding of the Product use cases, user stories and requirements
  • Contribute to product roadmap, prioritization, technical risk assessment and response plans
  • Drive activities that lead to high quality releases delivered on time
  • Lead and coach Scrum teams in their adherence to Agile values and practices
  • Act as a change leader, working closely with Product Owners and other Scrum Masters to help drive the adoption and deepening of agile mindset and culture at Absolute ensuring change management methods are followed
  • Support an internal coaching culture that provides backing across multiple Scrum teams, and which establishes common guidelines or practices where they make sense
  • Commitment to continuous improvement of the product innovation &development processes with the goal of delighting our customers
  • Support the Program Management team with hiring and skills development 

What You’ll Need:

  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, knowing the right medium
  • Solid foundational technical education - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of software development processes
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated expertise in managing software development projects using Agile / Scrum methodology required
  • Experience within a mature or maturing Agile organization
  • Experience with significant Agile adoptions and can demonstrate learnings from that experience
  • Working knowledge of the Atlassian suite of products: JIRA, Confluence,Bitbucket and related tools
  • Servant leadership style and values coaching for performance
  • Intrinsically motivated with a high level of ownership for team results
  • Vietnamese language skills an asset
  • PMP certification an asset
  • Scrum practitioner certifications or experience an asset (CSP, CSM orCSPO)
  • Agile framework certifications or experience an asset (SAFe, LeSS or DAD)
