Summary of the position...

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing email marketing campaigns, maximizing revenue opportunities from the customer database, and increasing repeat customer purchases across our family of brands:,, and  You'll be expected to develop and track segmented, dynamic email campaigns to ultimately increase our business' amail marketing success. 


  • Supports the Email Marketing Manager by assisting in the production and deployment of email marketing campaigns working cross functionally with creative, merchandising and IT Development.
  • Responsible for deployment of co-op marketing emails, in collaboration with merchandising, creative, and brand/campaign planning teams as well as external partners
  • Ensure email campaigns follow the production schedule.
  • Assure quality control of all emails (spell check, edit, and format).
  • Proof format of emails.  
  • Set up A/B tests to test & learn and improve channel performance
  • Assist in the development of email creative, and then analyze performance by making recommendations to increase performance.
  • Perform necessary web research, including industry and competitor analysis.
  • Generate email campaign report results.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of experience working in marketing, ecommerce background desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn the components the understanding of SPAM, compliance issues, deliverability issues, and suppression management or related legislation that impacts email programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn industry statistics such as open rates, click-through rates, unsubscribe, conversion rates, etc.  
  • Experience working with large volumes of data.
  • Above average interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing)
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills and an experienced problem-solver.
  • Strong initiative, ability to work independently, self motivated and deadline-driven.
  • Knowledge of HTML code preferred,  including email coding best practices and rendering troubleshooting
  • Experience working  with email service providers (Exact Target, Responsys, CheetahMail) preferred
