Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Vancouver Island

A certified speciality paper manufacturing facility is looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting to the maintenance manager, the maintenance supervisor will have experience supervising a team in a heavy industry setting. This person will be a key decision maker with proven troubleshooting skills and an ability to continually improve how business is done. This individual will :
Lead, coach and train the plant’s Electrical and Instrumentation team
Work with and assist the plants operations team to assess maintenance needs
Design and develop new or enhanced application to meet plants electrical and instrumentation requirements and oversee the implementation of the applications.
Participate in on going plant maintenance program and ensure plan operation meets or exceed set production levels
Must be a Red Sealed Electrician (will consider mechanical or electrical engineering degrees)
Experience working with high voltage power systems (in a Pulp & Paper mill preferred)
Experience working in a heavy industry setting
Must have previous supervisory experience in a unionized environment
