This leading electrical contractor has been operating for more than 50 years and provide a wide array of electrical services to clients in industry sectors including commercial, industrial, institutional and residential. They pride themselves on their quality of work, entrepreneurial spirit and highly skilled workforce.
Your new role
Due to expansion they looking to add an experienced estimator to their team. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for submission in order to win projects. In order to do this you will be expected to develop and grow working relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, engineers and contractors. You will prepare budgets, coordinate site tours and setup data for estimates among other duties. You will also provide leadership and mentoring to newer members of staff.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record estimating and bidding for commercial and institutional electrical projects. You will possess electrical trade background or relevant qualifications and have an excellent understanding of electrical codes. Your organization skills will be high level and you will be capable of troubleshooting technical issues as they arise. Accubid and AutoCAD experience will be considered an asset.
