The company specializes in the design and manufacturing of power generation systems and automatic transfer switches for low and medium voltage applications. • The Electrical Apprentice will be responsible for providing support to the manufacturing operation, mechanical assembling and wiring of electrical components in panel board related to electrical enclosures. • At least two years of electrical experience wiring of construction projects. • Ability to follow ISO 9000 standards plus LEAN manufacturing standards, and company procedures in a union environment • Ability to safely operate the power tools i.e. cut-off saw, engraver, radial arm saw, plus other tools as required • Working knowledge and familiar with ATS, LV and MV switch gear • Ability to wire in panels and all kinds of commonly used electrical components - relays, PLC, HMI, CT, PT, meters etc. • Handle layouts in mounting plates • Ability to read and interpret electrical blue prints, wiring and circuit diagrams and building plans • Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
