Dishwasher / Utility person (Local Residents Only)
Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware. Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand. Store all dishes, pots and pans. Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units. Clean ovens, stoves, refrigerators, etc. Remove kitchen garbage and trash. Sweep and mop floors. Clean walls, shelving, etc. Handle, store and maintain inventory of cleaning products. Requisitions supplies from stockroom. Receives, stores and distributes supplies. Various other duties as assigned by management.
Skills: Able to stand for long periods of time. Good physical capabilities (heavy lifting, etc). Have cleaning and maintaining the dish area as a priority. Good sense of organizing and planning. Punctual. Handle pressure. Emotional control. Enjoy working with others. Positive attitude.
Experience: Previous experience in the hospitality industry an asset.
Hours: Full / Part time, Monday to Friday, Weekends.
Salary: We offer competitive compensation (above the industry standard) + Meal
