Responsible for effectively leading the Absolute Market Readiness Organization and having full-ownership of activities pertaining to Absolute’s Go-To-Market efforts.  This includes, but is not limited to, analyzing sales and market trends, customer value alignment, evaluating market opportunities, formulating actionable strategy and guidance on stakeholders (e.g. customers and partners).  The Market Readiness Leader is a key role to Absolute’s GTM efforts and is wholly charged with the effectiveness/readiness of the sales organization (e.g. product training, sales process, enablement, sales training, sales kick-offs, etc.).  Further, the Market Readiness Leader is responsible for the development and execution of strategies and plans for global sales effectiveness (e.g. product launch effectiveness, sales force on-boarding sales effectiveness certification programs, sales curriculum ownership, sales assets and collateral). A key component of success for this role will be in working cross-functionally with sales, partners, product management, product marketing and corporate marketing. 

Accountabilities Will Include:

Develop and Implement Go-To-Market Field/Sales Readiness programs and initiatives.

  • Proactively identify, develop and drive sales strategies and initiatives that deliver rapid growth of Absolute’s products and solutions.
  • Gather market intelligence; identify market and customer opportunities and design and support programs and initiatives across the business to support the creation of business value.
  •   Develop GTM strategies, plans and programs that enable sales to drive top-line revenue and that optimizes the sales forcer (e.g. RTM, ideal customer, where and how we play, etc.)
  •  Serve as a senior leader in the Absolute Global Sales Organization

Align the Business to Link Desired Customer Outcomes With Sales Behaviors

  •  Provide actionable qualitative and quantitative sales and customer insights to product management and sales leadership.
  • Own and deliver sales effectiveness strategies, plans and programs.
  •  Own the GTM Sales Readiness for launches and releases.

Tactical Product/Solution GTM Sales Optimization

  •  Create and deliver key sales assets (e.g. strategic papers, enablement kits, cheat sheets, etc.) – directly and/or indirectly in collaboration with product marketing.
  • Execute/Program Manage sales training and delivery in collaboration with sales leadership, product management and senior leadership.

What You’ll Need:

  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software, information technology
  • Experience in working with cross-functional groups, product marketing, product management
  • Experience with Enterprise Software is a MUST
  • Experience with Enterprise Sales and/or business development
  • Quantitative analysis skills (e.g. excel)
  • PowerPoint wizard
  • Enterprise Security/Information Security background is a nice to have
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Self-Driven, Motivated and hungry to learn are an absolute MUST
  • Critical Thinking
  •  BS Required and MBA, MS desirable
