The Opportunity: Director, Post Merger Integration Advisory (Delivering Deal Value) - Calgary
Our Consulting and Deals Practice is looking for a Director in our Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team.
Our Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team assists Corporate, Government and Private Equity clients in their acquisition, integration and divestiture activity. This team assists clients in all operational aspects of the deal, pre and post completion, including:
· Buy and sell side operational due diligence;
· Post-acquisition integration;
· Synergy review and planning; and
· Carve out and separation.
As part of the transaction process, the DDV team develops a rapid understanding of the target/client business in order to quickly assimilate the key operational issues, synergies, risks and upsides around a transaction.
We are looking for a Director who is ready for a challenge and wants to collaborate with diverse teams, take responsibility for their personal growth, and ensure our firm operates with quality and integrity.
Experience in a leading management consulting firm demonstrating extensive knowledge of Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures including pre-deal operations and information technology due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, synergy and cost savings analysis, and/or post-close transformation, with extensive knowledge of one or more of the following functional areas: Information Technology, Human Resources, Finance, Operations/Supply Chain, and/or Sales and Marketing.
Extensive ability to manage and develop strategic client relationships while providing the highest quality client work across multiple client projects.
Proven leader with extensive abilities to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive teamwork environment, lead teams to generate a vision, leverage diverse views, and help develop and grow team members throughout the course of every engagement.
Demonstrated capability in thought leadership, new business development and securing project extensions, including client lead maturation, proposal development, and closing new business opportunities.
A proven track record of managing and delivering significant business results that reflects strategic and creative thinking, individual initiative and the following abilities:
