BCAA opened its first Auto Service Centre in October 2014 in Kelowna.  The Penticton location opened in 2015, followed by Vernon in August 2016 and Nanaimo in September 2016.  BCAA plans to open around two locations a year as it expands across the province.  Auto Service Centres have been a natural extension for BCAA and members have embraced this new offering.  Each Service Centre provides full-service, warranty-approved auto services including oil changes, tires, brakes and all mechanical repairs. Customers have full access to detailed information on work that is required and work that has been completed. Everyone is welcome at BCAA Auto Service Centres, while BCAA Members save 10% on labour, get a 2-year warranty and a free car wash.

Reporting to the VP Auto and based out of the Burnaby head office, the Director of BCAA Auto Service Centres will provide strategic and operational expertise for the roll-out, and ongoing operation of the BCAA Auto Centre business line across BC. The new Director will develop and operationalize the car repair platform that is focused on delivering significant, differentiated value to its Members and potential Members and lead a transformation in the auto repair industry to be trusted, customer centric service providers.

The ideal candidate will have operational work experience in the car repair sector, automotive industry, and/or retail sector with multi-location oversight.  A proven track record of operational excellence and ability to drive continuous improvement using exceptional leadership skills will be critical skills.  Highly motivated, ethical and energetic team players will fit well into the BCAA culture.
