We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dietitian to join our Population & Public Health Department. This position will be serving Fraser Health Community Fraser Valley.
Build on your education & experience as you:
    •Assists the members of the program team with planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services for women, infants, children and youth in diverse populations, as assigned. •Prepares and provides briefing notes to the program team to assist them in making informed decisions on nutrition related issues. •Plans, develops, and implements the integration of nutrition information into services delivered, in collaboration with other public health dietitians and program staff. •Conducts education workshops and conference sessions to support the integration of nutrition information into services delivered. •Develops or coordinates nutrition resources and information to meet program needs. •Participates in quality improvement activities and research by identifying service issues, collecting data, and preparing reports as required.
To join the organization we require you to have:
    •Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition from an approved educational institution, plus completion of an accredited community or dietetic internship program. •Two (2) years recent related public health experience as a practicing Dietitian delivering community-based programs, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. •Current registration with the College of Dietitians of BC and eligible for membership in the Dietitians of Canada. •Valid Class V BC Driver's License and access to personal vehicle for business purposes.
