Position Highlights We are looking to hire a Desktop Support Analyst, to work in our Head Office location in North Vancouver. The successful candidate will be part of a fast paced team that provides technical expertise in developing, planning, implementing and supporting computer and telecommunication systems and applications for corporate customers. This is a great opportunity for those who love a complex environment and want to gain more exposure to enterprise level technology in order to grow their careers long term.

What will you be doing? • Test and deploy various software packages; • Modify and troubleshoot scripts for automated software distribution and automated software removal; • Resolve infrastructure technology, system and solution problems and offers options and recommendations for improvement; • Identify and collaborate cross-functionally to improve service delivery to our internal and external customers, and/or reduce cost and effort; • Script and implement automated processes related to computer builds, adds, changes, document creation and revisions, etc.; • Prepare a variety of written reports and materials to support research and analysis and/or to make recommendations to management for new or enhanced systems, applications and technology.

Position Requirements As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following: • Hands on experience with scripting and automation using Microsoft PowerShell; • In depth understanding of the Windows 7&10 operating system in an Active Directory (AD) environment; • Experience configuring Internet Explorer settings for security and usability; • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; • Excellent written skills for both technical and non-technical audiences; • Proficiency with Active Directory Group Policy; • Working knowledge of SCCM; • Ability to effectively communicate both in writing and orally;

• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; • Technical writing experience is an asset.

The above requirements would typically be acquired through post-secondary education related to information technology and several years of related experience in customer support for desktop, telecommunications and mainframe systems and applications.

The ability to lift and move computer equipment is an essential part of this position. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment based on the job requirements.

Due to the specific nature of the job, a valid BC Driver's License must be held.
