Salary: Drivers get $25-$30 per hour, plus bonuses, Helper/Swamper gets $22-$25/hour.

Overview:

MMC Transport and Logistics is currently hiring Appliance Moving Assistants to join our team in Delta, BC. We are looking for individuals who excel in fast-paced environments, have previous experience handling and moving large appliances, and are dedicated to meeting strict time quotas.

Key Details:

7 am start time, Monday to Friday work, Full-time.
8 hour days, full OT paid if it goes over, and you get paid for 8 hours even if you finish faster!
Typical stops is 10-17/day, can be higher if the load is more TVs/Microwaves than fridges/stoves.
2 person teams will be driver+swamper.
T4 employee position with full OT. EI, CPP, MSP, Holiday and Stat pay.
Weekends and stat holidays off.

Responsibilities:

Safely transport and install large appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, etc.) at designated locations.
Ensure all installations are completed according to company standards and customer requirements.
Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service throughout all interactions.
Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

Drivers must have air brake ticket, but Class 5 with airbrake is OK.
Helper/Swampers do not require air brake ticket.
Previous experience in moving large appliances is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical capability to team lift (2 people with dolly/pallet jack) heavy objects (up to 300lbs) and perform strenuous tasks.
