Growing kitchen cabinet manufacturer specializing in high-end single family projects is looking for a Delivery Driver/Cabinet Assembly to package, deliver and assist with custom cabinetmaking needed to meet the production requirements related to a full schedule of projects in the coming year.  We have a great working environment and offer an exciting opportunity for you to be part of our growing team.

Job Duties:

  • Work closely with the production team and installation coordinator to ensure safe, damage free and on time delivery of cabinets  
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles
  • Review work orders, confirm receipt of goods and maintain delivery records
  • Assisting in the assembling and packaging cabinets of various shapes and sizes
  • Maintain shop cleanliness as required
  • Ensure professional representation of the company at all times and maintain relationships with staff, customers and suppliers 

Job Requirements:

  • A clean class 5 drivers licence
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering goods and driving large trucks
  • Experience working in a cabinet shop packaging, assembling and delivering cabinets is preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with good time management
  • An ability to work independently with attention to detail
  • Reliable with good work ethics and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn other aspects of the cabinetry business 

This is a stable, full time job offering a competitive hourly pay rate and a good benefits program. The hours of work are day shift only. The production plant is well organized, spacious and operates efficiently year round to meet local market demand.
