This is a full-time temporary auxiliary role calling for exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
The Land Title and Survey Authority of British Columbia (LTSA) is a publicly accountable, statutory corporation responsible for administering the land title and survey systems of BC. These systems provide the foundation for all real property business and ownership in the province.
We are currently accepting applications for an auxiliary Customer Service Representative (CSR) in our New Westminster office. Working in a team environment, the CSR provides customers with information about products and procedural requirements; determine and collect appropriate fees for over-the-counter services; and provide administrative support to staff within the Land Title Office.
Candidates with a minimum of secondary school graduation or equivalent, along with additional training and/or experience in legal, business or office administration are invited to submit their resumes. This position requires the ability to use computerized data systems, a point of sale system, Microsoft Office products, have strong keyboarding skills and a strong customer service attitude. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the following:
an ability to work with detailed legal concepts;
display effective verbal and written communication skills, along with a strong customer focus;
the ability to organize and independently manage workloads, taking into consideration changing priorities, tight deadlines and volume of work;
an ability to work independently and display good judgment, tact and diplomacy.
