Do you have the ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail and accuracy?  Our client is a well-established, local manufacturer of crafted metal products that ship nationally and internationally to their many construction industry clients.  This role would be great for someone who likes working in sales, has great attention to detail, a mature attitude and good English communication skills.

Duties will include inputting orders into the database according to coding systems, typing up sales quotes, taking care of international shipping and following up with customers.

Qualifications:        

  • Solid computer skills and accurate data entry – at least 1 year’s current experience
  • Knowledge of AccPac/Sage 300 or a similar accounting software program
  • Able to work independently and take direction
  • Ability to take detailed, accurate notes and directions well
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of the office/shop team
  • Experience with shipping a definite asset
  • Positive attitude with a desire to succeed

 

Position starts as soon as possible and is located in a transit accessible area of Burnaby.  Hours are 8am to 4:30 pm.
