Reporting to the Senior Inside Sales Rep, you will be accountable for superior customer satisfaction through continuous customer relationship building, performing sales support duties and thorough management of customer orders within the Order Fulfillment process.

You will work in conjunction with Sales/Account Managers to create and execute sales strategies, perform key sales support functions, and develop opportunities within existing customer relationships. This position will be part of an overall Service Delivery Team focused on achieving our preferred supplier goal.

As a Customer Account Rep, you will be the primary customer contact point for all order related inquiries and requests.

This is a 12 month temporary position in Richmond.


• Cultivating customer relationships by providing exceptional front line sales support
• Contributing to the development of new business line and product line opportunities
• Providing sales leadership within the SDT
• Generating approved reports for internal and external customers
• Managing customer forecasts within authorized limits.
• Ensuring accuracy in customer pricing in conjunction with the Sales/Account Manager.
• Receiving and following-up on the use of sales materials and tools (e.g., Trial Requests, sample requests) as sales leads.


• Completion of post-secondary education is required, preferably in a related discipline.
• Proven abilities in strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients
• Effective handling of large volumes of data and being able to multitask in order to manage time constraints
• An ability to work independently and resolve issues with minimal guidance or supervision
• A strong attention to detail as well as computer literacy, specifically in excel
• An interest in sales and marketing would be an asset
