WHAT IT TAKES
• To have an undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
• A minimum of two years related work experience in a related field at a recognized post-secondary institution. Experience in event planning and coordinating large events such as graduation is an asset.
• Knowledge of post-secondary policy and procedures, programs, graduation, transfer credit, and a range of registrarial processes.
• Experience with basic computer programming languages to encode program requirements in the Degree Audit system (i.e., an ability to represent rules and requirements) is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with a degree audit system such as Degree Works and Banner is preferred.
Additional Information
• This temporary full-time (35 hours per week) position is available starting May 12, 2025 to November 14, 2025.
• Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department's need. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required.
• The position is located at the New Westminster campus; however, successful candidate must be available for occasional work at all Douglas College campuses and offsite locations.
• Douglas College is committed to supporting a healthy work/life balance for employees. A modified/flexible schedule and/or hybrid work from home arrangement may be considered, subject to the terms of the College's Work From Home Policy.
