Cross-Dock Forklift

Express employment Professionals Cloverdale/Langley offices client, a Trucking/Logistics company in Surrey (Putullo Bridge) requires certified forklift drivers for Cross-Dock work, at their warehouse for afternoon shift work. (minimal labor, restacking of pallets that have shifts during transport – must be able to lift 50lbs for this from time to time.)

-This job is available on a long-term basis - Is a union shop (Teamster) benefits/retirement upon hire. you must be prepared to show up to shifts, on time; absenteeism will not be taken lightly. You run your probation period through us.

-Pay is $19.00 plus 4% vacation pay while on our payroll - This will change upon hire.
-You must hold a current Forklift certificate on a SDCB forklift and have proper experience - Must have at least 3-5 years of previous experience loading and unloading products on pallets. This position is not for new/inexperienced drivers - Confidence on the lift is a must and steady speed as well as being highly aware of your surroundings.

-Cross-Dock experience is not necessary - but will be considered a plus

-The need for drivers is immediate, and will look at all candidates as long term potential, labour on this position is securing loads only - but must be able to lift up to 50 lbs for the odd palletizing. 

The afternoon shift runs Monday - Friday/3pm-11:30pm with the potential for overtime on weekdays and possibly Saturdays (Optional). Minimal PPE - Steel toed shoes and comfortable but durable dress.
