Drysdale Bacon McStravick LLP continues to grow, so we are looking for a dedicated professional who is a self-starter for an immediate opening as a Corporate Commercial Conveyancer for our Real Estate Team.

You thrive while working within a fast-paced environment and enjoy showcasing your ability to multitask and prioritize.  You will be working closely with clients and a professional team while being responsible for a wide array of administrative functions.  The ability to be detail-oriented and self-motivating while dealing with time sensitive and stressful situations is essential to your success with this career opportunity.  Drysdale Bacon McStravick is a fun, challenging work environment that requires someone who is proficient, results-oriented with a proven track record for success.  Providing client service that is above and beyond their expectation is the main responsibility of this position. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review contracts of purchase and sale

  • Review lending commitment letters

  • Prepare closing documentation for transactions and banking

  • Communicate with clients, outside counsel, paralegals, realtors and lenders

  • LTO search and registrations

  • Disburse trust funds

  • Prepare final reports to clients and lenders

  • Prepare statement of accounts


  • Graduate of a recognized Paralegal program

  • 5-15 yrs of experience in a similar role

  • Solid understanding of law office policies and procedures

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-oriented

  • Experience working with project work preferred

  • Experience working with the majority of lenders preferred

  • Ability to work independently and with a team

  • Knowledge of Brief Convey, Adobe, Microsoft Windows, Amicus Attorney, PClaw

  • Able to work full-time Monday to Friday
