Our client is a leading financial services group, actively seeking a positive and motivated Corporate Administrator to join their established practice. As the ideal candidate, you will have the opportunity to showcase your multi-faceted talents with attending to the administrative needs of management and the advisory team, along with supporting different departments within the firm. Location: Vancouver, BC

Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day general administrative office tasks
  • Provide administrative support to Executives and advisor teams 
  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy document filings and updates to internal documents and templates
  • Perform accounting support duties – including invoicing, bank deposits, commission tracking and tax filings
  • Processing and submission of compliance documents
  • Provide coverage for reception and IT administrator as needed
  • Support the HR department with onboarding process and related activities
  • Assist with coordinating logistics for internal corporate events 
  • Ensure all processes adhere to legislative requirements and compliance standards
  • Additional tasks and special projects, as required

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the finance or investment industry
  • Familiarity with back-office procedures, tax and compliance within a financial services environment preferred
  • Previous exposure to basic accounting, tax preparation and planning software preferred
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is necessary
  • Able to build strong relationships with internal teams
  • Superior organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential details with professionalism and discretion
