Corporate Accountant

Located in Vancouver, you’ll join a cohesive, high-energy team of colleagues in the role of Corporate Accountant.

Experience in International Trade and/or Supply Chain industries is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions
• Perform full cycle of bookkeeping
• Conduct financial analysis and investigate ways to improve profitability, liquidity, or capital structure
• Office Administration

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics
• At least 5+ years’ Canadian experience in a similar role handling full cycle accounting functions including payroll, benefits admin, government remittances, financial reporting, coordinating year-end with an external accounting firm, dealing with banks and vendors, foreign exchange/payments, budgets, and financial planning
• ERP system experience is required as is Advanced Excel functions
• A problem solver who notices the little details and has a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, stand-alone, accounting role
• Liaise with vendors, negotiate the best pricing, ensure all business equipment is functioning, and assist with requests for proposals and/or information
