As a Coordinator, Special Initiatives & Projects you will support the functions of the Virtual Health Coordination Centre (VHCC), working in close collaboration with leaders, project managers, clinical staff and the virtual health team. In this role, you will facilitate the implementation of various initiatives, evaluation projects and improvement processes advanced through the VHCC, and coordinate the governance and reporting processes of the VHCC.

In this position your primary responsibilities include:
    •Collaborates with appropriate Director, clinical staff and project teams to acquire input in developing project scope, methodology and deliverables. •Collaborates with internal clinical staff and external stakeholders such as Health Authorities and Ministry of Health as required/appropriate to capture, clarify or share information. •Develops information capturing criteria and conducts literature reviews from a range of sources related to evidence-based and best-practice methodologies appropriate to range of projects/initiatives. •Provides input and assists in work processes related to Quality and Improvement. •Participates on assigned internal and external committees as appropriate.

Education and experience required:
    •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences or Health-Related field. •Two (2) to three (3) years recent related project and/or coordinator experience, preferably in a health related environment.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

This is a Temporary Full-Time position with an approximate end date of January 2, 2022 located at our Central City in Surrey, BC, an ideal location with access to rapid transit, on site-gym and shopping services as well as other amenities.
