Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Continuing Education, and where applicable, receives day-to day supervision provided by local campus management. The Continuing Education (CE) Coordinator is responsible for assessing program and industry needs for their assigned portfolio; cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with partners; coordinating new continuing education course and program development; researching funding opportunities; writing proposals; and coordinating programming which supports local needs. This a position requires quality decision-making, and guidance reflecting student, regional, community, client, and institutional needs. In addition, this position is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and reporting on new programming. The CE Coordinator is responsible to coordinate the offering and delivery of sufficient programming to justify the position and related delivery and administrative costs.
